The cash week closed green for the fifth session in a row. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs booked a **$101.7 million** net inflow on **August 7**, per [Farside Investors](https://farside.co.uk/btc/), after Monday's **+$170.1 million**, Tuesday's **+$211.5 million**, Wednesday's **+$244.4 million**, and Thursday's **+$137.6 million**. Friday was the softest print of the five, and still a clear creation day. Spot finished the cash week higher than it started: BTC/USDT on [Crypto.com Exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange) settled Friday at **$64,927.10**, then Saturday at **$64,957.80**. As of about **09:32 UTC** on **August 9** the pair last traded near **$64,809**. That Sunday mark is still **intraday** on a forming daily candle.

## Five sessions, about $865 million

Stack the week and the primary market created roughly **$865.3 million** of net share demand across five U.S. cash sessions (**$170.1 + $211.5 + $244.4 + $137.6 + $101.7**). That is a full rewrite of the **−$265.4 million** redemption print on **July 31** and leaves about **$600 million** of net creations on top of that flush. Farside's lifetime total across the complex now sits near **$52.2 billion**. [TFTC's flow tracker](https://www.tftc.io/bitcoin-etf-flows), which aggregates the same primary-market series, puts the week of August 3 near **+$853.5 million** on a slightly different daily rounding path; either way the week is the strongest cash stretch of the young month.

Friday's mix was still IBIT-led, though less lopsided than Thursday: IBIT carried about **85%** of Friday's net against roughly **93%** on Thursday. BlackRock's IBIT printed **+$86.7 million**. Fidelity's FBTC stepped up hard at **+$41.0 million**, its largest line of the five-day run. Bitwise's BITB added **+$2.1 million** and ARK 21Shares' ARKB **+$1.9 million**. On the red side, Invesco's BTCO redeemed **−$19.4 million** and VanEck's HODL **−$10.6 million**. Net is still green; the two red lines and the smaller headline print are the new detail after Wednesday's peak.

Primary-market flow counts creations and redemptions of ETF shares, not every secondary trade on the tape. A **$101.7 million** Friday is real fund-level demand. It is also the second straight day of deceleration after Wednesday's **$244.4 million** high-water mark. The narrow read: cash created for five sessions, the bid still centered on IBIT with a real Fidelity contribution on the close, and the ramp is no longer accelerating into the weekend.

## Spot reclaimed mid-$64Ks, then held the band

Friday's settled close climbed from Thursday's **$64,330.27** to **$64,927.10**. The session ranged about **$64,158–$65,397** on Crypto.com 1D data, tagging the mid-$65Ks intraday before finishing under the high. That is the third up-close of the five-day green ETF stretch and the largest of them, and it leaves the cash week finishing about **$1,407** above Monday's **$63,520.01** settle.

Saturday settled **$64,957.80**, a quiet **$31** drift higher with a session high near **$65,199**. Sunday's open session has so far ranged about **$64,727–$65,010** and last printed near **$64,809** around **09:32 UTC**. U.S. equity wrappers do not create or redeem shares on Saturday or Sunday, so the next Farside line cannot print until the **August 10** cash session. The weekend is describing whether Friday's reclaim is being defended, not inventing a second catalyst.

Ethereum tracked the same shape without leading it. ETH/USDT closed Friday at **$1,914.20**, Saturday at **$1,917.21**, and as of the same Sunday window traded near **$1,915**. Bitcoin remains the flow story; ether is sitting in the same band.

## Chart: the stair from the flush into the hold

The series pairs settled daily closes (and Sunday's still-forming candle) with the [Crypto Fear & Greed Index](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/). Price rebuilt from the August 2–3 low-$63Ks through the five green flow days, then flattened into the weekend just under $65,000.

## Fear eases to 31 while the product table cools

The composite ticked from **29** (Fear) on **August 7** to **30** on Saturday and **31** (still Fear) on **August 9**, per [alternative.me](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/). That is a slow thaw from the Extreme Fear readings that sat at **25** mid-week, not a sentiment breakout. Creations slowed into Friday while the mood gauge inched higher; the two series are not locked in step.

For a newcomer: primary-market ETF flow is the authorized-participant pipe into the listed products. Spot is the exchange tape. Fear & Greed is a daily composite of volatility, volume, social chatter, and other inputs. A five-day green stretch with a decelerating last print, a weekend hold under $65,000, and a Fear reading still in the low 30s is a calm book, not a euphoric one.

## What Monday can rewrite

The next settled product table is **August 10**. Until then, the facts on the board are fixed: five green cash days, about **$865 million** of net creations for the week on Farside's series, a Friday spot settle near **$64,927**, and a quiet weekend still inside the mid-$64K band. A Monday redemption would cut the streak; another creation day would extend it. Neither outcome is priced here. This is a description of what printed and what the weekend tape has done since, not a forecast and not financial advice.
