Friday's $307.5 million closed a five-day inflow week of $1.92 billion. [Farside Investors](https://farside.co.uk/btc/) printed the **August 21** row at **+$307.5 million** net, with [BlackRock's IBIT creating $239.3 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2091026973686653299) and seven funds creating against zero redemptions.

## Seven greens, no reds

Left to right on the sheet. IBIT **+$239.3 million**. Fidelity's FBTC [**+$30.2 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090960014592614582). Grayscale's mini BTC **+$13.6 million**, [the third-largest cell](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090934464746520736). Bitwise's BITB [**+$9.2 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090933591442170341). Morgan Stanley's MSBT [**+$7.7 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090931824704860308). VanEck's HODL [**+$4.4 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090954740998008927), reversing Thursday's **−$3.6 million** redemption. ARK 21Shares' ARKB [**+$3.1 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2090937998376354196). Invesco, Franklin, Valkyrie, WisdomTree, and GBTC printed **0.0**. [Farside's bundled card](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2091027010239996219) matches the live table: **307.5** net, IBIT **239.3**, no outflow column.

Add the seven green cells and you get **$307.5 million** exactly. IBIT is about **78 percent** of the net, less concentrated than [Thursday](/en/posts/2026-08-21-etf-inflow-606m-aug-20-ibit/), when the same product did **83 percent** of a **$606.3 million** sheet and VanEck was the only redemption. Friday's mix is still a BlackRock day, with Fidelity and the Grayscale mini filling the next two seats and four smaller creations around them.

Ethereum products stayed green too. [Farside's ETH table](https://farside.co.uk/eth/) shows **+$184.0 million**. [ETHA created $150.8 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2091026897614311812). ETHB **+$9.9 million**, Fidelity's FETH **+$9.6 million**, Bitwise's ETHW **+$2.2 million**, Grayscale's mini ETH **+$11.5 million**. The other five ETH funds printed **0.0**. The [ETH total card](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2091026921148583981) matches **184**. ETHA is **82 percent** of that net.

## Five cash days, $1.92 billion

[Monday](/en/posts/2026-08-18-etf-inflow-137m-aug-17-fbtc/) is **+$297.5 million**, restated up from the **$137.3 million** on the board that morning once IBIT's unpublished dash filled in. [Tuesday](/en/posts/2026-08-19-etf-inflow-189m-aug-18-ibit/) is **+$189.3 million**. [Wednesday](/en/posts/2026-08-20-etf-inflow-517m-aug-19-ibit/) is **+$517.2 million**. Thursday is **+$606.3 million**. Friday is **+$307.5 million**. Five sessions: **$1,917.8 million**, matching [Farside's weekly summary](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2091072985402692085). IBIT took **$1,330.8 million** of that week, about **69 percent**. Fidelity added **$293.1 million**. ARK **$126.9 million**. Bitwise **$87.3 million**. VanEck is the only weekly red, **−$16.1 million**, leftover from Tuesday and Thursday.

Friday is the week's third-largest day, behind Thursday and Wednesday. The five ETH sessions in the same window add **$692.6 million** (30.9 + 71.4 + 186.8 + 219.5 + 184.0). Combined bitcoin-plus-ether creations for the week land around **$2.61 billion**.

That week more than covers the [August 10–14 stretch of about $385 million](/en/posts/2026-08-15-etf-outflow-56m-aug-14-ibit/) in net redemptions, and it sits on top of the first August week's creations. [TFTC's August table](https://www.tftc.io/bitcoin-etf-flows/august-2026), reading the same Farside cells, puts month-to-date at about **$2.4 billion** across 15 trading days, 11 inflows against 4 outflows, with August 20 still the biggest session. Farside's lifetime total is **$53.78 billion**.

[BlackRock's IBIT product page](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/333011/ishares-bitcoin-trust-etf) put Friday's NAV at **$43.66**, up **$2.57** or **6.25 percent**, with net assets about **$58.8 billion**. The Nasdaq close was **$43.68** on **119.0 million** shares, a heavier secondary tape than Thursday's **108.2 million**. The benchmark on that page, the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate New York Variant, printed **$77,112.83**, about **$1,231** below Crypto.com's UTC 1D settle of **$78,344.39**. Spot kept trading after the listed close, as it did on Thursday.

## Friday locked $78K; the weekend settled; Monday is still open

Settled 1D closes on Crypto.com now include the weekend the [Sunday recap](/en/posts/2026-08-23-btc-recovers-sunday-long-flush/) had to leave forming. Friday ran **$73,014.49–$79,525.99** and settled **$78,344.39**. Saturday settled **$77,074.12**. Sunday opened on that print, sank to **$75,550.89**, tagged **$78,059.40**, and locked **$77,735.91**. Ethereum settled Friday at **$2,516.47**, Saturday at **$2,422.37**, and Sunday at **$2,463.28**.

Monday's candle is still forming. BTC/USDT opened the UTC day at **$77,741.75** and, as of about **12:15 UTC** on **August 24**, last traded near **$78,139** on [Crypto.com Exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange), after a session range of **$76,660.61–$78,592.78**. That last is **intraday**, not a close. The August 24 1D candle stays open until 00:00 UTC. Ethereum traded near **$2,484** at the same snapshot, after a session range of **$2,424.30–$2,508.97**. U.S. authorized participants do not create or redeem until the cash session opens later in the morning Eastern, so Monday's flow row is still blank.

The series pairs settled daily closes (and Monday's still-forming candle) with the [Crypto Fear & Greed Index](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/). Price left the $64,000s last Monday, locked the $78,000s on Friday, gave some of it back through the weekend, and has spent the first Monday hours climbing back into the $78,000s.

*BTC price vs the Crypto Fear & Greed Index, August 17–24. Friday settled $78,344 after tagging $79,526. Sunday locked $77,736. Monday's still-open candle is an intraday read as of ~12:15 UTC, not a settled close. Sources: [Crypto.com Exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange) 1D candles and [alternative.me](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/).*

The composite read **31** (Fear) on August 17, climbed to **72** (Greed) on Friday, eased to **66** on Sunday, and prints **73** this morning. Mood made a new week high, and the coin has spent Monday trading within a few hundred dollars of Friday's settle without retaking that **$79,525.99** session high.

Friday's $307.5 million is already in Farside's table. Monday's last on Crypto.com will keep moving until 00:00 UTC, and today's creation row does not exist until the U.S. cash session opens. None of the figures above is a reason to buy or sell.
