Monday, IBIT created **$205.9 million**. Tuesday it redeemed **$201.2 million**. [Farside Investors](https://farside.co.uk/btc/) printed the **September 1** row at **−$236.5 million** net, because [Fidelity's FBTC redeemed $43.7 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094946667459993612) on the same sheet and [Bitwise's BITB created $8.4 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094929030650724484). Two redeemers, one creator. The largest fund did about **85 percent** of the net.

## The Monday cell, with the sign flipped

Monday's Bitcoin row was [**+$216.7 million**](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094632809503547882), and IBIT supplied **$205.9 million** of it. Add Tuesday's IBIT cell to Monday's and you get **+$4.7 million** over two cash sessions. The whole complex is **−$19.8 million** across those same two days. Friday, August 28, had already printed **−$201.9 million**. The last three cash sessions are red, green, red, and IBIT switched sign each time.

[Farside's bundled card](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094995120995086711) matches the live table: **−236.5** net, IBIT **−201.2**, FBTC **−43.7**, BITB **8.4**. ARK 21Shares' ARKB, Invesco's BTCO, Franklin's EZBC, Valkyrie's BRRR, VanEck's HODL, WisdomTree's BTCW, Morgan Stanley's MSBT, Grayscale's GBTC, and the Grayscale mini all printed **0.0**. [BlockBeats](https://www.theblockbeats.info/flash/364837), reading the same FarsideUK card, matches **$236.5 million** and the three non-zero cells.

The two red cells sum to **$244.9 million**. Subtract BITB and you get **$236.5 million**. FBTC is about **18 percent** of the net. BITB is the only green cell, and it is small next to IBIT's redemption.

[BlackRock's IBIT product page](https://www.ishares.com/us/products/333011/ishares-bitcoin-trust-etf) put Tuesday's NAV at **$43.73**, down **$1.03** or **2.30 percent**, with net assets about **$60.23 billion** and **1.377 billion** shares outstanding. The CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate New York Variant on that page printed **$77,242.69**, about **$196** under Crypto.com's UTC 1D settle of **$77,439.01**. Farside's lifetime total sits at **$54.68 billion**.

A creation is an authorized participant delivering cash (or bitcoin) for new shares. A redemption is the reverse: shares come back, and bitcoin leaves the trust. Tuesday's IBIT cell is that reverse, in almost the same size as Monday's create. It is a two-day wash for the ticker that has carried most of the late-August tape, including the [**$606.3 million** August 20 session](/en/posts/2026-08-21-etf-inflow-606m-aug-20-ibit/).

## Ether stayed green on the staked wrapper

[Farside's ETH table](https://farside.co.uk/eth/) shows **+$8.6 million**, down from Monday's **$87.6 million**. [BlackRock's ETHA created $0.0](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094995030037364781). The staked sibling, [iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB), created $11.2 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094995028363858025). [Fidelity's FETH created $4.8 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094946585125724245). [Grayscale's ETHE redeemed $7.4 million](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094913122083406237). The other six ETH funds printed **0.0**. The [ETH total card](https://x.com/FarsideUK/status/2094995054221808109) matches **8.6**. Combined Bitcoin plus ether on Tuesday is **−$227.9 million**.

ETHA had been the usual leader. On Monday it created **$59.9 million**. On Tuesday the unstaked BlackRock wrapper sat out and the staked one carried the slim green. That is a product mix on one issuer, not a read of who is buying ether. Ethereum settled Tuesday at **$2,418.59** on Crypto.com, after Monday's **$2,467.90**.

Spot Solana ETFs, on [Farside's SOL table](https://farside.co.uk/sol/), added **$8.9 million**. Bitwise's BSOL created **$6.2 million** and Fidelity's FSOL **$2.7 million**. That offset is modest next to a **$236.5 million** Bitcoin redemption.

## Tuesday settled $77,439

Settled 1D candles on Crypto.com now include Tuesday. Monday settled **$78,587.39**. Tuesday settled **$77,439.01**. Ethereum settled **$2,418.59**.

Wednesday's candle is still forming. BTC/USDT last traded near **$76,872** as of about **12:19 UTC** on **September 2** on [Crypto.com Exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange), inside a September 2 range so far of **$76,255.53–$77,798.99**. That last is **intraday**, not a close. The September 2 1D candle stays open until 00:00 UTC. Ethereum traded near **$2,385** at the same snapshot.

The chart below pairs settled daily closes, plus Wednesday's still-forming candle, with the [Crypto Fear & Greed Index](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/). Price left the $80,000s last week, settled $77,439 on Tuesday, and has spent Wednesday's open hours under that print.

*BTC price vs the Crypto Fear & Greed Index, August 26–September 2. Tuesday settled $77,439. Wednesday's still-open candle is an intraday read as of ~12:19 UTC, not a settled close. Sources: [Crypto.com Exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange) 1D candles and [alternative.me](https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/).*

The composite read **62** (Greed) on Monday, **69** on Tuesday, and prints **63** this morning. Still Greed, six points off Tuesday, while the coin sits under Tuesday's settle.

Authorized participants already booked Tuesday, redemption included. Wednesday's last will keep moving until 00:00 UTC. None of this is a recommendation.
